-Tuesday, 5.15pm-9.15pm
-Wednesday, 5.15pm-9.15pm
-Thursday, 5.15pm-9.15pm

Relief shift (can be at any CL branch within opening hours)
-Thursday, 7 hours

All shifts can be applied for individually.

Band 4 $37.88 to $40.92 per hour
35 hour per week model

About the business and the role

We have several permanent shifts available at Connected Libraries for enthusiast and driven individuals.

As a Band 4 Customer Experience Library Officer you’ll be required to provide professional and engaging customer experience to our community members.

As this is not an entry level position, a Band 4 Customer Experience Library Officer is required to mentor the branch team, as well as at times stepping up to be the senior on duty throughout the shift.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Must have post-trade or other post-secondary education
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently provide quality customer service
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with all ages across all levels of community
  • Sound organisational skills
  • Strong information technology and problem-solving skills in a range of information technology and software tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet organisational strategic outcomes
  • Ability to undertake supervisory responsibilities as required
  • Public Library experience desirable
  • Driver’s licence
